Service Description

Meeting at Woodbank Car Park on Little Moor Lane we'll head on a scenic journey through Woodbank and Woodlands Parks as we head towards the peaceful setting of Poise Brook, from there we'll wind through to Chadkirk Estate and the historic Kirk Wood before strolling along the canal towards Romiley where we'll head back towards the Midshires Way and back to Woodbank Park. This is where you have the choice of returning to the car park approx 11km or heading through further wooded areas for refreshments at Pure Cafe approx 12km The walk will officially end at the cafe. Our Longer Walks are around 3hrs in length, at our usual pace taking the opportunity to explore different areas in a bit more detail. Sometimes with the option for lunch afterwards too. There's no need to worry about navigation, where to park etc allowing you to take time to soak in the stunning views and enjoy great company. Led by a Hill and Moorland Leader who is Outdoor First Aid Trained and will support you along the way.
