Tatton Park Deer Walk 10km

15 British pounds
Tatton Street Car Park, Knutsford (Wallwood Garden meeting point)

Service Description

From October to November the deer rut takes place, when stags are braying and locking horns to decide who gets to mate. We are hoping to see and hear some of these magnificent animals on this walk around the boundaries of Tattaon Park. Meeting at Wallwood Gardens we will make our way round the outskirts of Knutsford before entering the Tatton Park Estate and heading through Deer enclosures, woods, open fields and taking in the expansive views as the colours start to change in the trees too. We will stop here and there for brief historical snippets about the park and it's surroundings. The walk is relatively flat with tarmac, stoned paths and field tracks. Approx 10km allow 3.5hours There's no need to worry about navigation, allowing you to take time to soak in the stunning views and enjoy great company. Led by an experienced Nordic Walking Instructor who is Outdoor First Aid Trained and will support you along the way. Our Longer Walks are around 3hrs in length, at our usual pace taking the opportunity to explore different areas in a bit more detail. Sometimes with the option for lunch afterwards too.
