IRBO is professional and well group, where individuals and groups can feel safe to enjoy places they may not think of going to on their own. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is contemplating healthy outdoor activities. HS

Tim’s walks are always enjoyable and he is mindful of the capabilities of each Walker. He organises a range of interesting routes in a number of different locations, often with excellent views. Everyone is always very sociable and we have made lots of new friends since joining the group in 2020. KR

Nordic walking has helped to get me much fitter and lose weight. Using poles has helped with my posture and walking has become a lot more pleasurable and a lot less painful! The walks are well planned and structured and there’s lots of encouragement and support from everyone. KB

Nordic walking offers everything I expected from this type of activity, and I have seen an improvement on my physical strength, posture and general wellbeing. Tim is a fantastic instructor, he is attentive to our needs and motivates us to progress and improve our technique. He offers different levels of challenge to accommodate all ranges of ability. There is always a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere on the walks, everyone is so lovely, and I find each route different and interesting. It has recently been a year since I first joined I'd rather be outdoors, and my only regret is not having joined them sooner. FO
