Three Edges Guided Walk

Service Description

Starting from Haywood Car Park we'll head into the Longshaw Estate, passing the historic hunting lodge, we will then start to head towards White Edge where we may see some of the deer herds as we make our way along the moorland to Curbar Gap and the gritstone Curbar Edge (Curbar Edge is famous for the birth of rock climbing) moving from Curbar to Froggatt Edge we will then return to the cars. There are great views along the Derwent Valley and across the Peak District. (optional toilet stop at approx 2.5km) After the walk you may choose to head to the Grouse Inn, or back to The Longshaw Estate, there are plenty of opportunities for refreshments around the area too. Our Longer Walks are around 3hrs in length, at our usual pace taking the opportunity to explore different areas in a bit more detail. Sometimes with the option for lunch afterwards too. There's no need to worry about navigation, where to park etc allowing you to take time to soak in the stunning views and enjoy great company. Led by a Hill and Moorland Leader who is Outdoor First Aid Trained and will support you along the way.
