It was a glorious sunny morning as we made our way round the village of Mellor, we started near St Thomas' Church before dropping down through farmland to the Memorial Gardens on Longhurst Lane from there we descended even further to Bottoms Hall.
We then started the steady climb up the Bridleway towards Mellor Cross and narrowly missed being run over by a Mountain Biker! From there it was onwards and upwards as we made our way towards New Mills Golf Couurse with great views of Kinder Scout.
It was pretty level as we made our way to Five Lane Ends and along Shiloh Road before joining another Bridleway back to the start and The Iron Age Settlement that's near the church.
