When we set off on this walk it seemed like it would be a question of how wet we would be rather than if we would get wet. As we made our way along the river Dane we got brave and removed our waterproofs as it was very humid. On reaching Lud's Church the decision was taken just to have a peek in as it can be very muddy at times. Upon reaching the ridge dark clouds seemed to surround us and start rolling in quite quickly so the waterproofs were donned again, although they made no difference for the ensuing deluge! We left the ridge and made our way along the permissive cycle track / bridleway back towards the start. To the question posed earlier, soaked to the skin was the answer!
